Zidane is not sure of Eden Hazard’s recovery duration
After a recent announcement of former Chelsea’s star – Eden Hazard injury condition, the Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has announced that he doesn’t know how long it will take the player to play for the team again.
The case of his new muscle injury came shortly before he was ready to return to Santiago Bernabeu from an ankle injury that had held him for some months. This new condition has made the Belgian upset as he has not been enjoying his time in Spain due to persistent injury problems.
The muscle injury came while Hazard was training for the club’s last match against Real Valladolid and eventually made him unavailable to play the game. In a news conference, Zidane said: “I can’t tell you how long it will be. He picked a bit of a knock in training before the game. It looked like a muscle spasm but in the end, it turned out to be a bit more than that.”
“He’s been out for a long time. I don’t think this one will be long but I can’t tell you exactly.”
Since Hazard’s arrival at Real Madrid, the player has struggled to impress fans due to injuries, he has appeared for just 16 times of play, scoring one goal and provided three assists. In Zidane’s statement with the press, he acknowledged Hazard’s displeasure with his current state; he said: ” He is not happy, he knows that it’s not a big thing and we have to take it easy with him. It’s a question of little time, I am sure.”
