Ibrahimovic finally recovers from COVID-19
AC Milan’s forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic who had previously tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the club’s third qualifying round of the Europa League against Bodo/Glimt has now been confirmed to be from the disease.
The Swede was the first to announce the good news to his club; making a post on his Twitter handle that reads: “You recovered. Health authorities have been informed, the quarantine is over. You can go out!” After Zlatan announced his present coronavirus state, the AC Milan Football Club then made an official statement to attest to the statement made by Ibrahimovic.
In their official statement, the club stated: “Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive in two consecutive swab tests. ATS has been informed of the recovery and confirms the end of the quarantine.”
The entire Rossoneri team is glad to hear the news and are hopeful that the 38-year-old Ibrahimovic would join them soon in their training especially as the team looks forward to facing their Milan counterpart – Inter Milan on October 17th for their Derby della Madonnina for the 2020-21 football season.
AC Milan has had a great start so far in the Serie A this season, winning all their three matches and in the second place in the league table.
